Web development

Web development with a designer's eye

I build websites and web apps with React, Next.js, TypeScript and WordPress. Because I also design, I take care of what usually gets lost between Figma and production: spacing, states, responsive behavior and accessibility.

Who it's for

  • Teams and agencies with finished designs that need faithful implementation.
  • Products that need reusable UI components in React.
  • Companies that want to move an old site to a modern foundation.
  • WordPress projects that need a custom theme instead of a template.

What's included

  • Implementation of designs (mine or your team's) in Next.js and React with TypeScript.
  • Component library aligned with the design system.
  • Web applications with Next.js.
  • WordPress sites with a custom theme.
  • Performance optimization, technical SEO and accessibility.
  • Git version control and deployment.
  • Legacy site migration.
  • Maintenance and management, if you need it: I take care of the project's accounts, connect the services and integrations required, the server when the project needs it and the database.

How I work

  1. Technical review of the design and the scope.
  2. Stack definition and component structure.
  3. Staged development with reviewable deliveries.
  4. Visual, functional and responsive QA.
  5. Deployment and handover with documentation.

Where AI fits

I use code assistants to speed up repetitive work: scaffolding, typing, tests and refactors. All code is reviewed before delivery and I am accountable for what I deliver.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with designs made by someone else?

Yes. Before starting I review them and point out what is still undefined, such as states or responsive behavior.

Do you handle the server and the database?

Yes, when the project requires it: I can manage the server and the database, and connect the services and integrations it needs.

Next.js or WordPress?

WordPress if the focus is letting the team publish content on their own. Next.js if there is application logic, critical performance needs or a design system in React.

How do we start?

We review the brief and the designs, and I send you a proposal with the scope and the phases of the work.
